Batman Forever (1995 film)

“Forever” raises more questions than it answers. When are we now? Was there a time jump? Why is Harvey Dent white now? Who thought getting the director of “St. Elmo’s Fire” and “Flatliners” to do a Batman film was a good idea? What is up with the rubber nipples? There are some surprisingly well-executed sequences here (including the opening action sequence), but everyone is underwritten and none of the actors bring their A-game to the proceedings. This is a film stuck between tones, more fondly remembered for its exceptional soundtrack than anything that happens in the film. Also, Robin sucks.
