Baby Mama (revisted)

I remember Tina Fey saying something in an interview to indicate that one of the conveniences of “Baby Mama” was that she didn’t write it, and doesn’t that sound like some kind of damnation? Poehler and Fey are too good at what they do to not have some of their jokes land, but “Mama”’s sort of segmented plotting feels like part of a television series, one that could have connected its disparate parts in later episodes. It’s a decent film to fall asleep to, I suppose, but revisiting it had me agog that this has an RT score of 62.
