It isn’t unusual to come away from a NJPW main event thinking it would have been much improved had it been pared down, but that I’m saying that about a match on WWE’s fifth-most important brand indicates, well, SOMETHING for sure. I can’t call this a bad match, but there are so many elements of selling and psychology that indicate surrius bizniss when its ten minutes indicates it should be consumed like popcorn. It’s to the point where much of what’s been set up needs to be disregarded so they can reach the finish in their allotted time. Needs work.
