Aladdin (Game Boy and Super Game Boy versions)

I strongly suspect I would be much more negative towards this if I hadn’t played the abysmal “Lion King” Game Boy game. This version, based off the Genesis version, isn’t good, having sluggish controls and questionable hit detection, but it is significantly less bad and closer to the material it is cribbing from than that title. I don’t even hate the music, which offers adorably bad 8-bit renditions of songs like “Prince Ali” and “A Whole New World” that at least offer some kitsch, which is something, I guess. I wouldn’t recommend this, but you could do so much worse.
