Advanced Dungeons and Dragons: Heroes of the Lance (NES version)

You know how RPGs are supposed to represent grand quests that take dozens of hours to complete? Well, “Heroes of the Lance” can be completed in five minutes if you know what you’re doing. Then again, knowing what to do isn’t easy as this is one of the least intuitive games I have ever played. What do you do? Where do you go? How do you attack? Everything about its presentation makes me want to burn my eyes out. I’m not in love with the later “Baldur’s Gate” games, but they’re godlike compared to this tripe. Avoid like the plague.
