Adolescence (2025 miniseries)

“Adolescence” doesn’t have a lot of answers. It has a lot of questions, but it doesn’t linger on them, either. If there’s a point to this series, it is in the presented emotional reaction to the inscrutable but tangible wrongness of the modern age. It almost doesn’t matter that it peaks with its first episode, not just because it represents one of the most chilling hours ever broadcast (…on Netflix) but because everything after that is effectively epilogue, fallout from the unthinkable laid bare. Some jarring action beats and a messy third episode weigh this down—hey, someone’s gotta nitpick.
