A Parks and Recreation Special

Setting aside the perspective of this being a great way to raise money for a good cause and judging it purely as art, this was about as good as one could realistically hope for given the circumstances. The best joke was a late Ron Swanson metagag I’ll not spoil and the one bit that didn’t land could’ve been called a mile away as nothing about Jeremy Jam has ever worked. Still, the writing is otherwise sharp, the jokes are mostly effective, and the ending works better in execution than it does on paper. A likeable half-hour, though not must-see television.
