2 AM: The Smiling Man

Weeeeeeak. The first "Smiling Man" kind of worked on the back of exploiting adult fear and letting moments play out. This "Smiling Man" is too straightforward with its concept and too quick to get everything done with. It even ditches the great makeup work of the first, because why lean on what worked? The heavy lifting here is done by the soundtrack of bumps and screeches and other things that sound like knockoff Prurient. If you're a horror aficianado (and you have to be if you're looking up stuff like this), there's nothing here you haven't seen done better elsewhere.
