WWF Betrayal
Conceptually, “WWF Betrayal” is my kind of disaster: a side-scrolling beat-em-up like “Final Fight” and “Streets of Rage”, on a console not built for beat-em-ups, using a license that is at once too white trash for this sort of thing and too good for this treatment. In execution, it is far less exciting than this all sounds. Combat is limited even by the standards of the format (“Mighty Final Fight” works with basically the same tools but is much more rewarding), the story is dumb, and it is over in less than an hour. A curiosity, but not much else.
