WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2022

This looked unspectacular on paper; one could be forgiven for thinking this would be the worst WWE event of the year. In execution, it was alright, arguably even good. Most of this could be owed to a crowd that was into everything, including the bad stuff, so when Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair had themselves a pretty good match, Tampa made it sound like a classic in the making. I’m not going to tell you I was over the moon for this or that I’ll ever watch it in full again, but this was a pleasant surprise, all things considered.
