The Pitt (Season One)
Most medical dramas are trash, dumb baby food for dumb babies who want something to wash down the soft-served state propaganda that I’m forced to call, for convenience’s sake, “network police procedurals”, where the good people are always saved (unless their death kicks off the episode’s plot) and the chief doctor only have flaws to accentuate what would otherwise be the blandest self-insert since the writer’s last wet dream. I’d say “at least modern production values are a step up”, but “Emergency” is actually easier to look at than this crap.
“The Pitt” is good, though. Really good, arguably great.
