The Last of Us (Left Behind)

“I reached inside myself and found / Nothing there to ease the pressure of my ever-worrying mind / All my power wasted away / I fear the crazed and lonely looks the mirror's sending me these days”- a-ha, “The Sun Always Shines on T.V.”

All (well, most of) my complaints about this episode amount to mere differences of opinion on how these events are conveyed and what’s lost in adaptation. I have no problems admitting, as a singular episode and without making comparisons to the game, this was wonderful television and a thoughtful and mature depiction of loss of innocence.
