The Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker (Netflix documentary)

I’ve found a good way to measure a feature documentary comes with asking why one should watch it instead of read an article summing up the information presented within the documentary. Plenty of excellent documentaries pass this standard, but while there is dim humor in seeing money-grubbing entertainment heads recall how they stumbled into a scene out of “Wag the Dog”, this is a glorified recap of a story that isn’t old enough for this to work as novelty—heck, it’s barely older than Netflix’s earliest original offerings. It’s not the worst way this story could’ve been told, I suppose.
