The Flintstones Vol. 1

How in the blazes does this thing even exist? Playing out like the more realistic of Calvin's concotions Watterson put to page, this incarnation of "The Flintstones" is a darkly satirical comedy in which Fred Flintstone struggles to stay on top of his PTSD and various other anxieties while keeping up with an increasingly-advancing world. It's a take that could only work in small doses, so it's fitting that this is a full half of its run, but Fred greeting a television with a raised weapon and yelling "WALL DEMON!" is just one of many belly laughs this weirdo conjures.
