The Adventures of Willy Beamish (PC version)
The most joy I got out of this one involved Beamish hanging out with friends. They indulge hobbies they’ll soon grow out of, sneak into places they shouldn’t be around, and spent money on pointless doodads that will likely prompt flashbacks to youth when they find them in the back of a closet in a few years. These represent “Beamish”’s most tonally and thematically consistent sequences. The rest of the game races through a plot about rich bozos messing up the city water supply, and it’s laced with adult humor that kids shouldn’t be exposed to. Who’s the target audience?
