The 2008 Royal Rumble (winner gets to challenge for the championship of their choice at WrestleMania 24)

This one doesn't get a lot of love, and I can't understand why. An active Rumble with what feels like half a field of believable winners, this is the rare battle royal with no meaningful dead spots. Heck, even the comedy spot between legends revolves around a decades-old feud that was so meaningful for its time that no one in the ring dare do anything to distract from it. I suppose some of the heat this Rumble gets comes from who won it, but I find it hard to not like a match that maintains its electricity for its length.
