Street Fighter V

I had hoped that getting to Diamond would have shown me better competition than “play every character, even close-range grapplers, as cowards constantly walking backwards except after a lucky knockdown”, if only to give hope for the future of fighting games. Turns out, nope, it’s cowardly Bisons all the way down. Street Fighter used to be among the most exciting games on the market, and by betting on the goodwill and passion of a community that perpetually argues against fun and art, SFV flushes almost all that reputation down the drain. As boring as “Elden Ring” and almost as maddening.
