“Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Boss Fight Books 20)” by Alex Kane

It is sort of surreal to read this satisfying oral history of one of BioWare’s most beloved titles less than a month after Kotaku’s article detailing the substantial issues BioWare had getting “Anthem” out the door. A long time ago, in the galaxy we all occupy, BioWare was a company with its act together whose employees were happy to work on a product, and that enthusiasm shines through in this brisk read that makes room for ruminations on its big twist as well as the story of how they got Ed Asner on board. Were that this BioWare stuck around.
