Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage (SNES version)
A game that feels great for exactly one level. Its namesake arc was derided for its senseless violence, horrid pacing, and below-average writing, and all of these flaws carry over in the transition to interactive entertainment. Iād ask why introduce a scoring system when so few levels end with a summation of my achievements, but that would require me to care after beating wave after wave of palette-swapped foes. The exclusion of a two player option speaks volumes for how little Software Creations give a shit about the consumer (another hint: their name). The epitome of a mindless, shitty brawler.
