Saw 5
“Saw”, at this point in its heyday, had embraced being a long-running serial, with the fifth entry being the cinematic equivalent of what could charitably be described as a useful exposition dump of an episode and what could not-so-charitably be described as filler. The traps suck, the victims suck, the kills suck, the villain sucks, and the overarching storyline, while dirt simple, is told in such maddeningly incompetent fashion, I suspect most would need to consult an outside source to verify the timeline of events (signpost your flashbacks, y’all). The worst Saw film of the initial seven by some measure.
