Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship, from WWE WrestleMania 34

The match these two put on three years prior was an incredible brawl that was on pace to be one of the best show closers in WrestleMania history until the overbooking kicked in. This, for as hard as Lesnar and Reigns worked (and they worked their asses off), was nowhere near that level, the climax of a bad storyline whose booking seemed intent on making both guys look like dorks. They endlessly threw out finishers, they did table spots, one bled profusedly, and no one cared. Has there been a WrestleMania main event worked this hard for so little payoff?
