Roadsters (Nintendo 64 version)

A game whose lasting legacy was to choke used games barrels alongside similarly boorish Nintendo 64 racing and wrestling titles. It is mechanically fine—you can accelerate, brake, and move around just fine. It’s in the incentives to move forward that this game, published by the same folks who put out “Superman 64”, stumbles in a big way. What’s the reward? Well, you get to experience more unspectacular gameplay on a system loaded with fun cart racing games. “Roadsters” feels like a first draft of a project done by a first-year DigiPen student. Why does this game exist? Who knows.
