Rise of the Robots (SNES version)

“Rise of the Robots” feels like a tech demo that was released for public consumption, so much so that I think that might actually be what it is. Combat is not so much unbalanced as it is unfinished—this is a button-basher if ever there was one, and if there is a strategy one can develop for this game, why bother when only one character is built for anything resembling completion? One of the worst fighting games ever made, lacking even the personality of other bad fighting games, rendering this, yes, worse than “Shaq Fu”—probably “Robots”’s greatest achievement, actually.
