Razor Ramon / Scott Hall vs. Shawn Michaels for the WWF Intercontinental Championship (Ladder match), from WWF Summerslam 1995

Due to pressure from USA Network discouraging excessive violence, Michaels and Hall had to perform this match without their characters directly utilizing the ladder as a weapon. They were informed of this mandate less than a day before they were to have their match, and spent the night before with friends trying to piece together a showstopping encounter that satisfied the suits. That they succeeded on all counts (and even accounting for multiple botched finishes) should be proof enough of how good these guys were at the time, Michaels in particular. May be a greater achivement than their WrestleMania encounter.
