Monster Prom

“Monster Prom” is one of those works that has garnered a cult following for reasons besides its quality. It aims to be a comedy for the Tumblr crowd and does so with exactly the grace and wit you’d expect of something called “Monster Prom”. The one joke the game tells, of responding to any stimuli by moving the dial to eleven, wears thin quickly, and that the audience most likely to fall for this isn’t old enough to buy it means it is a game seemingly made for no one besides illustrators and fanfic writers. There’s plenty better visual novels.
