missed messages.

The difficult part in talking about a game like this, a visual novel about millennial relationships and depression, comes with separating how I feel about its message and how I feel it works as art—plenty of folk have heaped undue praise on “missed messages.” due to being unable or unwilling to make the distinction. I think it’s a fine game that doesn’t waste its or your time or money, and I also think there are plenty of visual novels out there that attempt to hit similar emotional notes as “missed” and find greater success. “Butterfly Soup” is free, too.
