LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special

This was as good as I could have realistically hoped it would be. The best joke comes with the basic premise (one word separates this title from the worst “Star Wars” property), but it has plenty of other good jokes as well, from panels of the second Death Star falling off in establishing shots to Obi-Wan summing up the main problem with “The Phantom Menace” in six words. Truly inspired comedy is absent, but the jokes never pull a “Lion King 1.5” and shit on the original material. It’s a friendly ribbing and a fine way to spend forty-five minutes.
