Kota Ibushi vs. Mike Bailey, from Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) Presents Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 9

The main event was conceptually closer to capturing the spirit of what Bloodsport is about, but this is closer to the thrills I want from this idea. Ibushi has the size and reach advantage, Bailey has the edge in terms of speed and knowledge of combat arts, and every bit of these seven minutes is built around determining whose advantage will win the day. There’s very little fluff here (I’m kind of over non-MMA guys doing fake fighting in guard) and the whole thing wrapped up right as it hit its dramatic peak, which really should not be a compliment.
