Kid 90
Great documentaries argue why they deserve to be seen rather than having the information they convey be read about in summary. “Kid 90” comes from a place of love and is occasionally interesting, with a few captured vignettes being of interest to 90s youth (seeing Jenny Lewis talk about mushrooms is, well, certainly something), but we’re not lacking in footage of teens in the 90s captured by teens during the 90s and this documentary doesn’t argue for why it needs to be seen save you’re monumentally interested in the life of Soleil Moon Frye. I didn’t hate this, at least.
