It’s a holiday-themed romantic comedy about two people who don’t like love or holidays but love exercising their salty tongues—joy. Between a couple of shots that looked decently expensive as well as Emma Roberts pulling her weight, this could have been on the low end of good if the script were engaging, but it often settles on getting most of the way to a punchline without landing it; the best gag sees children run down a hill towards Easter eggs set to Ludacris’s “Move Bitch”. There are plenty of better Netflix rom-coms with which you can spend your time.
