Helldivers (PS4 version, played on PS5 for review)
Whether it is being boring, too difficult, or boring while being too difficult, “Helldivers” is insufferable. Combat never feels good; you’re forced to use the laser weapons because all other weapons run out of ammo fast unless you spawn far from an objective and get supply drops, which you won’t because the game takes away the option to pause in single-player and you’ll want to complete these missions as fast as possible to compensate, and the lasers are just awful. Will the next mission be piss-easy or impossible without teaming with some Gamergate fuck from Illinois? Oh, the bountiful choices.
