Halo 3

“Halo 3” is the worst kind of sequel: a game that is supposed to serve as the ending to a game that didn’t have one. If you’re not caught up on “Halo”’s saga about a super marine trying to take down a militant suicide cult who’ve mistaken a galactic reset button for the ignition to the rapture, don’t worry, there’s a three-sentence explanation in the third level that will sort of get you up to speed. The production values still impress, but the inconsistent difficulty and level design that ranges from fine to awful bring down this overhyped, self-impressed mess.
