Good Boys

It’s about good kids doing bad things over the course of a day, the trailer is set to “Nobody Speak”, and Molly Gordon is in the cast—it’s hard to avoid comparing “Good Boys” to “Booksmart”. “Boys” suffers for the comparison, having the lower batting average per joke and having lesser visual panache, but it’s far from awful, with great performances from its young cast and a solid slew of jokes outside of the dips into profane humor, which are hit or miss. It’s likeable and better than the marketing made it look, but don’t go into this expecting greatness.
