Gone Home

I’ve given the naysayers more time than they might be due, and the only point that might register as a legit negative is the troperiffic nature of “Gone Home”’s central narrative. I’m willing to forgive that aspect due to the execution and masterful conveyance. All you do is pick up objects, read discarded notes, and look at postcards, all more than enough for “Gone Home” to nail the emotional tones it is going for. Also, this is the most realistic depiction of a lived-in house in a video game ever. “Gone Home” isn’t perfect, but it is kind of wonderful.
