Godzilla vs. Kong

“Lizard vs. Monkey” spends a lot of time with elements that do not involve the lizard fighting a monkey, and for as much explanation as it gives to the setup of the lizard fighting a monkey, I was still confused about elements of the plot—a portal to the center of the Earth existing in Antarctica is one of the easier concepts to swallow. That said, the film comes to life when the humans get out of the way as the creature violence is alternately hysterical and glorious, with fun choreography that is shot well. Overall, an agreeable film, eventually.
