The original Game & Watch titles combined the licenses of Nintendo products with the thrills of Tic-Tac-Toe, single-screen timewasting endeavors whose many faults could be made up for that it was the 80s and it could let you kill time while waiting in line at the bank where a modern adult would use their smartphone. Then some were ported in a collection onto Game Boy, a platform that, for its limitations, still managed to amass a library of some of the greatest games of all time, rendering these table scraps laughably obsolete.
