Galaxy Quest

What could have been (and probably was at some point in its development) a mean-spirited project meant to demean those who dare to get attached to a fictional world is instead a lovable, if safe, little film that is made measurably better by a cast who know how to milk character moments. A tropetastic jaunt that knows how silly it is to be a SF enthusiast while maintaining a respectful attitude towards the community AND getting some good jokes in as well. Ironically, the easiest fix to making this a greater film would be improved commitment to building its universe.
