Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers (1993 video game)

“Sins of the Fathers” has many measurable flaws—a few puzzles are obtuse, progressing can sometimes not occur until you trigger one conversation tree from a minor character, it takes until about halfway through the game until the story kicks into gear, and this is one of those old PC games built around the deficiencies of the platform at the time. That said, it’s one of the best stories ever told in the PC adventure space, and even the worst puzzles are still better than what you’ll find in similar games released around the same time. Arguably Sierra’s best title.
