Forgetting Sarah Marshall

There's a lot to be said about this, one of the best comedies of the Aughts and one of the few comedies that gets away with being two hours long, but among its most admirable traits is that it doesn't limit itself with assigning any of its cast as the antagonist. Peter's ex, the title character, breaks up with him for perfectly sound reasons, and her new squeeze practically jumps at the chance at getting along with Peter. It makes for a film with not much of a narrative thrust, which is fine when you've got such a likable cast.
