Final Fantasy 3 (Pixel Remaster)
If we’re talking about games that are complete from a systemic perspective, this is easily the best Final Fantasy of the original trilogy. There’s a lot of leeway given with the dynamic job system, and that you can play most of the game however you want on what amounts to an NES title must make it one of the most versatile old-school games I can recall. It’s considerably less charming than the first title, however, and while the story of 2 didn’t wow me, it’s still better than this effort. Also, the last dungeon sucks. A mixed bag, all told.
