Faith (Unholy Trinity version, sometimes referred to as “Faith: Chapter One”)

I was a bit cold to the first chapter of “Faith” the first time I played it, but that it wouldn’t leave my thoughts years after I had touched it made me feel like I had been too hard on it. Revisiting it recently confirmed my suspicions and made it easier to appreciate the disconnect between its lo-fi aesthetic and its highbrow production (the billion frames of animation during the scary bits never got old). That said, some of my failure states felt the result of RNG rather than player error; I swear I inadvertently stood on enemy spawn points.
