Extra Innings

One of the most shallow baseball games ever, and it remains a favorite of mine. The weird presentation is a wonderful approximation of how baseball games flow, and while individual characteristics of players do have an impact on how things flow, “Extra Innings” doesn’t get bogged down in minutiae. This is a title that is just as bored by baseball as you are and does everything in its power (all 16 bits of it) to keep things engaging. It’s short on depth, and there’s little reason to engage in a full season, but the same could be said about baseball.
