Eddie Guerrero vs. The Rock, from the July 22, 2002 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw

Among the great “what ifs” in wrestling is what would have transpired if Eddie Guerrero and The Rock had a match at their peak of the former’s popularity. Alas, this seems to be the only televised singles match between the two and it’s hardly a question of who is going to win. They throw in some good stuff, though, such as Guerrero winning the ground game and The Rock winning the brawl, and they leave just enough doubt that you almost bite on one Guerrero nearfall. A fun match, though it stings of prelude to something that would never come.
