ECW Wrestlepalooza 98

“Wrestlepalooza ’98” is a prime example of how not to execute a PPV. That this is a show full of bad matches is not unexpected, but I fail to understand how anyone could have thought this show looked good on paper. Wrestlers are mostly paired in ways that accentuate their faults, all of the spots get blown up by repetition far more than the frequent botching does, and why give Sabu and RVD half an hour when they don’t have enough ideas to sustain fifteen minutes of action? The worst ECW PPV—yes, worse than the show that killed ECW.
