Duke Nukem Forever

The game that was in everyone’s head was better than what we got. “Duke Nukem Forever” would have been a below-average bestseller had it come out when it was supposed to, and the fifteen years of development is proof that some games aren’t improved with more time in the oven. There are some nifty areas where things almost click, but then there’s the rest of it, with dated level design, shitty weapons, and casual sexism I doubt even the dumbest misogynist would find amusing. Not the worst game I’ve ever played, but then again, I’ve played “Ride to Hell: Retribution”.
