Devil May Cry 2 (PS4 version)

I have no compunctions arguing that the first "Devil May Cry" is showing its age, so you can imagine how much I hate this sequel. Dante's new design is cool, the addition of a dedicated dodge button is appreciated, and the final few levels are actually pretty good, but DMC2 is otherwise a tire fire, lacking the intensity and spectacle that made DMC1 stand out in a crowded marketplace. Most have complained the combat is too simplified, but I never figured out the combat system and yet blazed through fights; I don’t know if that proves or disproves their point.
