The best match to close out a WrestleMania in some time was as great at conveying high-stakes drama as anything you’ll see on television. This wasn’t just three dudes fighting over a championship, this was three people fighting for the soul of their genre who were also wrestling with the evil inside themselves. How long can Edge hold off on his worst instincts? Is Bryan just a selfish jerk with great PR? And how quickly will Reigns engage with his worst behaviors? For once, WWE chose to end their show with an emotionally-honest conclusion, one their childish, adoring public deserves.
