Claymates (played on Switch Online for review)

To praise “Claymates” is to give a backhanded compliment. For instance, it plays like “Bubsy” but not quite as awful, or it looks like “Clayfighter” but a little more refined. I know some like to approach all art as meaningful if you “look hard enough”, but crap like this asks far more respect than it deserves, especially considering its egregious length combined with no saves or passwords. Another mediocre platformer on the Switch online library while fucking “Earthbound”, “The Legend of the Mystical Ninja”, and “ActRaiser” gather dust waiting for Nintendo to do nothing with them. Japan got SMTI, FFS.
