Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho vs. Stone Cold Steven Austin and Triple H, for the WWF Tag Team Championship, from the May 21st 2001 edition of WWF Raw

First: I forgot how short this was, clocking in at less than twenty minutes from intros to the finish. Second: wow, this crowd took a while to get into this one. Third: this does not hold up as well as I thought it did. Great match, no question, with everyone pulling their weight and telling a compelling story, but I think the greater appeal of this match is that of “the WWE match they’ll never let loose from the archives” but here it is. A fantastic main event, but I don’t know that Hart/Smith vs. Michaels/Austin was a better match.
