BxB Hulk vs. YAMATO, from Dragon Gate USA Enter the Dragon / Open the Historic Gate

You can get away with a lot in entertainment if what you’re doing is fun. Hulk is shit at selling the damage to his leg; he can’t run across the ring without collapse in one moment, and in the next, he’s delivering springboard roundhouse kicks, and in the next, his leg is bothering him all over again. No part of this match is the boring part, though, and that’s not a compliment I can give many fifteen-minute matches. It’s a spectacular light show of mostly-convincing action that wraps up after the most impactful spot of the whole match. Great stuff.
